Nicole Chin - Site Coordinator

Nicole Chin leads our Uptown site at 219 25th Street with patience, care and dedication.
As the Site Coordinator, she helps our Uptown site run smoothly each day.
She supports our teachers, staff, and students and makes sure everyone feels welcome and safe.
Nicole is the heart of our Uptown school community, and we are so happy she is here!
Parents will meet Nicole during the registration process for their child, as she is the first point of contact and the welcoming face of our Uptown site.
Elizabeth Benitez - Site Coordinator

Elizabeth Benitez has been part of the LBPKC since the opening of our first site making her a vital member to our school community she is the heart of our Downtown site at 173 25th Street .
As the Site Coordinator, Elizabeth helps our school run smoothly every day.
She supports our teachers and staff on a daily basis.
Elizabeth is someone our children, staff, and families know and trust, and we are so happy she is part of our community.
Parents will meet Elizabeth during the registration process for their child, as she is often the first person to welcome families to our Downtown site.
Carla Leonardi - Site Coordinator

Carla Leonardi has been part of LBPKC since the opening of the school and is a key leader at our Third Avenue site located in Park Slope.
As the Site Coordinator, Carla ensures the school runs smoothly each day by supporting teachers and staff, assisting students, and helping create a safe, nurturing, and welcoming environment for all families.
Carla is a familiar and trusted presence in our school community. Families often meet her during the registration process, as she is one of the first people to welcome parents and guide them through their child’s Pre‑K experience at our Third Avenue site.
We are thankful for Carla’s dedication and care, and we are proud to have her as part of the LBPKC family.
Edna Garces - Special Education Instructional Coordinator

We are so fortunate to have Edna Garces as part of our Pre‑K community.
Edna supports our children, families, and teachers to make sure every child receives the care and learning support they need.
Edna works closely with families to help them understand the special education process, including Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). She takes time to answer questions, explain services in clear and simple terms, and support parents every step of the way.
She also partners with teachers and staff to help create classrooms where every child feels included, confident, and supported. Edna’s caring presence helps families feel informed, empowered, and valued in our school community.

Ms. Annie Chang and Ms. Diana Caba are our secretarial dynamic duo, and we love having them. They work across all of our sites and support our staff, children, and parents in so many wonderful ways.
Yaasmeen Brown - Parent Coordinator

Yaasmeen Brown is LBPKC’s first‑ever Parent Coordinator. She manages our Parent Advisory Committee (PAC), which focuses on family engagement across all Little Brooklyn Pre‑K Center sites.
The PAC includes every parent and/or guardian with a child registered at LBPKC which makes for a large and diverse community which we are so grateful for . PAC meetings are held once a month and have led to many wonderful, parent‑led initiatives, including a soccer clinic, an improv activity led by two actors from our parent community, a sustainability activity, and a series of parent‑led fundraisers. Parents have also collaborated to design and create school merchandise for our community.
