Each year P.S. Art acknowledges outstanding artwork and exemplary instruction in grades Pre-K to 12 through a citywide competition, exhibition, and catalog. The New York City Department of Education – in partnership with Studio in a School and the Metropolitan Museum of Art - convene panels of artists, arts professionals, and art educators to serve in two rounds of judging. Final selections highlight exemplary artwork and practice as they relate to the Blueprint for Teaching and Learning in Visual Arts.

This year we had one of our students commended for their exemplary artwork.
